21 Day Camping Safari: Lilongwe - Lilongwe

Itinerary
Day 1: Lilongwe - Lilongwe to South Luangwa N/P Zambia
Night game drive
The camp we use is right on the rivers edge where elephants normally cross
at sunset, sometimes coming into the camp!!! There is also a swimming pool
so maybe time for a mid afternoon swim before one of two night drives.
Day 2: South Luangwa N/P
Day and night game drive
Today it’s an early start (5.30am), after a light breakfast you drive
into the park, arriving back at camp around 10.30am with time to relax,
take a swim or watch the wildlife coming to the river to drink before you
head off for your second night drive.
Day 3: South Luangwa N/P - Chipata
Day game drive
Another early start for the second day game drive. After lunch we drive
back to Chipata were we will stay for the night. There may be time to visit
the local food market if you wanted.
Day 4: Drive to Lusaka
Today is a long drive to our camp just outside Lusaka.
Day 5: Drive to Livingstone (Victoria Falls)
Another long drive to Livingstone but hot showers await at our camp ready
for you to explore Livingstone.
Day 6: Day at Victoria Falls
Today we drive down to Victoria Falls were you can spend as much time at
the falls as you like.
Day 7: Day at Livingstone
(Many optional extras to do, please ask)
Optional extras to do rafting, flights, extra safaris, boat cruises, jumping
off bridges tied to a rope!!!!!! And shopping and much more.
Day 8: Drive to Monze
After a morning in Livingstone we leave for our next camp in Monze which
is on the way to the Lower Zambezi.
Day 9: Drive to Lower Zambezi
After breakfast we drive to Lower Zambezi, crossing the river on a ferry
to get to camp.There is a swimming pool for you to cool off.
Day 10: Lower Zambezi
Morning canoe trip and sunset boat ride
This morning you take to the water for a 3 hour canoe trip, looking out
for elephants and hippos then back to camp. In the evening you will go on
a sunset boat cruise.
Day 11: Lower Zambezi
Morning canoe trip and sunset boat ride
Same as Day 12.
Day 12: Drive to Bridge Camp
A day of driving to our next camp which is on the river as we head back
to Malawi.
Day 13: Drive to Lilongwe, Malawi
Border crossing.
Day 14: Drive to Liwonde N/P
Day 15: Liwonde N/P
Game drive and Boat safari
After breakfast we can go on a game drive into the park and later in the
day on a boat safari.
Day 16: Liwonde N/P
Game drive
Today after breakfast we go again into the park for game drives which is
great for bird life.
Day 17-20: Lake Malawi
Off we go to spend 4 days on the lake, where you can try sailing, swimming,
diving or maybe horse riding.
Day 21: Drive to Lilongwe
Trip ends.
